lookin after my hair

hi!!
I am in the process of growing my hair long and i wanted 2 know if any of u guys or women can give me some tips on how 2 look after it and keep it in healthy shape for when it grows longer.I have dark straight shiny hair.The sides r touching my ears and the back is sorta long. I am planning 2 grow it to shoulder length for now but eventually i wanna grow it really long:)

i have hair that is only little longer then my shoulders i applied lot of medicines but it never grows longer then that i want to grow my hair long i love long hair so please send me some tips so that i can grow my hair long. so plz can u give me some suggestion regarding it plz do the need ful
