Feels nice to be complimented!

Last week I was at store at the mall walking past the sales counter when the young lady voiced sincerely but loudly "You've got very pretty hair - I wish mine was that pretty!"
My wife who was with me got a charge out of that one, when we got back to the counter, the young lady said she envied me. I was a little speechless, but said a modest thanks. Must be doing something right - it's happened several other times the past few months, but I have to say this one truly made my day!

Wow, what a coincidence, the same thing happened to me today too! I was walking around the store when my friend called me over. He introduced me to a girl that worked at one of the stores. She said, "hey I like your hair, can I touch it?" I let her, of course. After my friend and I left, he told me that he called me over because she asked him to introduce us just so she can compliment me and touch my hair. I'm still flattered at this moment :).

I was talking with this woman today about nutrition and how you can tell what minerals people were lacking from complexion, nails, hair color. She said I generally had decent nutrition and that I had really nice hair quality, which i think is the first compliment I've ever gotten on my hair!!! She said I'm lacking copper which attributes to its reddish tint, hehe. But still, I was pretty happy about that!

This happened to me once over the summer. I was working at this convention and had my hair out. It's about middle back, brown, and pretty thin with a little bit of a natural wave. Anyway, I had it out and was watching an event from the door. This cute blonde girl took a lock between her fingers and went, "oo, pretty hair." We chatted for a little bit, but I got called to help someone else. I never got the chance to talk to her again.
