How will my hair grow?

Hi.
I'm trying out growing long hair-my hair is fairly short at the moment(1.5 inch I'd say) but that's not the problem.
Since I remember myself my hair grows in a certain way-the middle of the head and one of the sides are growing in the same direction and the other side the other way-I had no problem while having really short hair(for about 4-5 years)but now that I'm growing it I'm facing the same problem.
At the moment I just comb it that way and apply hair mositurizer and since it short it's no problem but what will happen a few months from now?I'd like my hair to be sepereated in the middle and not in the side(otherwise I'll look weirdy...:) )-what can I do?
Thanks,
Adi.

From what I have seen, this will not be a huge problem. As your hair gets longer, it would seem that the weight of your hair is affected by gravity so the hair falls down and grows a certain way(separated in the middle and not at the sides :) )So don't worry a lot abou this

The longer and heavier it gets the more gravity will force it down. From there, you can do most any thing with it.
I personally have a natural part right down the middle, but I have a cousin whose hair naturally falls from a single middle point. I have a friend whos hair grows in ever tightning curls poking straight out from her head in all directions including straight up. Now, that the hair itself is about a foot long, the curls are about 3 inches long and have started to flatten on top from gravity.
You just work with what you have, when your hair gets longer you can comb the middle hair over your natural part. It might feel weird going against the grain for a while and when its still short it might puff a bit on that side, but the folicles will probably adjust to the change and hair gunk can help in the mean while.
