Slow progress (Pic)

Just thought I'd give you all a laugh by posting the latest images of horror from my own Awkward stage. The lefthand image shows yours truly with the minimal amount of hair I used to have. The other two show it today, 10 months later. To me, it seems to rather slow growing - the fact that it's wavy doesn't help matters (if I pull on the hair at the from it reaches my mouth.) Anyway, I know other folks suffering the Awkward Phase always like to laugh at someone going through the same misery...! :-)
BTW, if my nose looks a bit red, it's because I had my septum pierced and I changed the keeper stud (you can't see it) which always makes my nose glow like Rudolph's for a day or two.

Lol, don't worry Saul, you don't look that bad. I wish my awkward stage looked like that. We have the same length more or less and i look a lot worst than that, a LOT, so don't worry, you're doing fine.
Good luck, and don't cut your hair

Awkward stage or not, it is a definite improvement over the "minimal"! Don't get discouraged--keep it growing. Good Luck!

Saul,
If you have a chance, please show a pic with your hair brushed forward to see the length of your bangs -- you indicated that they go as far as your mouth -- Happy Growin'!

Dude, you honestly look ten years younger in the recent pictures. And your hair's not as awkward as it seems to you. You're doing fine.

Dear Everyone
Thanks for your positive and encouraging comments. It's always great to have people say you look OK, espicially when you really feel you look like crap!
And John, I'll be happy to send a photo of my bangs as soon as 1) my Netcam recharges its puny battery and 2) you tell me where my 'bangs' are! What are they? (Is this an American term? Could explain why I don't know it.)

Saul,
Sorry about that! Bangs are a term for fringes. Brush your hair forward and let it hang straight down in your face. These are fringes or forelocks. This is a great way to see (or determine if your hair is so long that it covers your entire face) how long your hair growing is progressing.
