need advice quick...

hey guys,
bangs are just touching the nose, hair at the top of the head is that long also. sides are 2-4 inches long.
hair is dry, fuzzy, and really really really thick, like wires almost.
what hairstyles to you recommend, i have something really important to attend on wednesday, and cant afford to look like an ass.
i have oil, leavein conditioners, shampoos, and gels.
what should i use to tame this crap :) tell me what to do...
any thoughts, please post.

assuming you dont wanna spike it straight up like a punk, you can just have a centre parting and comb it straight down and use the gel to keep it all lined up i think
