Hot or Cold Water

Ok, now I've heard two different opinions on this board. One says that you should rinse with warm water between times when you shampoo, and the other says you should rinse with cold water. So, I'm wondering which one is really the better choice. Presently, I rinse with warm water, condition every other day, and shampoo once every week or so. What's your opinion on the hot vs. cold water issue?

Ok, let's clarify this. Jeremy, I think the following works for me and many others:
1. Before shampooing, rinse your hair completely with WARM (not hot!) water. This is to enable your cuticles to open up for the full effects of cleansing to take place.
2. After shampooing, again rinse with WARM water. This is for your cuticles to remain open for absorbing necessary nutrients during conditioning.
3. After conditioning, rinse with COOL (not cold!) water. This is to close your cuticles to give it that additional shine and silky feeling after it dries.
Remember, DO NOT use overly HOT or COLD water, it will definitely hurt your scalp and hair. Let your own scalp decide if it's too hot or too cold, once you feel any discomfort with the water temperature, then it is too much for your scalp to take.
