What other long-haired styles are there?

I've posted a couple of times. I think I want to grow my hair out, but for quite some time I haven't been able to decide upon what kind of style or length I'd like. Most long-haired guys I've seen generally have it long all the way around or in a ponytail. I'd like to try something different. Are there any suggestions or hairstyles you think would look good on me? Thanks!

When your hair is long enough, the styles that you can wear are limited only by your imagination and by your courage. Have you seen The Lord of the Rings? There are lots of different styles that all look great on men in that movie! The best thing is that you can try a style one day, if you don't like it, then you can try something else the next.

Explain what you mean by "all the way around": Do you mean a curly afro, hair straight down on the sides and back, etc?

For example, the hair gets cut at a length so that the bottom is pretty much even. Most guys I see only have it down to almost shoulder length where it's the same all the way around, sometimes forming kind of a "triangle" shape.

And so the evened bottom is the bottom side of the "triangle", right? By the way, is the "diamond" shape formed because the hair in the center of the back is longer than the hair on the sides?
