I'm sure we've all seen photos of ourselves and it suddenly hits us how much our hair has actually grown - once you get past the obsessive, neurotic phase, that is!
Anyway, the skinhead (eek!) guy is me on my 16th birthday, and the others are of me two years later. What I'd like to know is if people think my hair growth is slow considering I've only ever had about 1 1/2 inches cut since I started growing it. I'm not at all bothered about the rate since my hair is thick and pretty healthy, but I was always confused by the typical time hair takes to grow.
Just thought I'd finally post some pics, since it's always interesting to see everyone else. Happy new year everyone!

Well, you have awesome hair man, and a quite fine growth rate, I'd pay big bucks to have my hair like you already. I am barely 7 1/2 months, althought I just ordered formula 37. I also need relaxing. Anyway, congrats. I hope mine is like that when I get to 2 years. Definitely you proove the fact that buzzcuts are totally yucky next to a head of hair. Why should we waste our hair. Instead of paying for a barber, pay for some hair care products and let nature work ist own. Keep growing.

Hey, your hair looks great! Seems to be about twelve inches long to me, just about right for two years growth. Keep growing and hope to see some three year pics a year from now.

I'm curious about the hair on your back, did you even it out, or is it longer than the rest according to natural growth? I'm not quite sure what to do with my own. Very nice hair BTW.

All the hair on my head is pretty layered since I grew it from a skinhead and never had more than a couple of trims. The hair on the back of my head looked pretty awful for a while until it hung loosely, I wouldn't even bother evening it out until it's at a reasonable length.

The stuff we write is of a funk/rock persuasion, we're influenced by bands like the Chili Peppers and Incubus. We cover lots of groups like Kiss, Ben Folds Five, The Knack, Muse, Nirvana, Foo Fighters, and Cake. Thanks for the interest!

Well, not cutting it would help. :-) Seriously, don't cut it. Just let it grow as long as it will get even if that's waist-length or longer.

Your hair looks really good, especially hanging loose, the best way to wear long hair, IMHO.
