one side straighter than other

For a little while I was worried that the hair on the left side of my face was longer than the right side but a girl told me it just curled up a little more making it look shorter. How can I keep both sides straight? She said it might be because my right side droes quicker. thoughts?

I think that I remembered some discussion about this. It could have to do with which side that you are sleeping on. Also whether which side is dry could affect the curliness of your hair.

Not all of my hair is of a uniform type. The hair growing from around my temples is wavier than the rest, and more so on the right side. I also have a slightly wavy patch on top, too. Not noticeable to others, really, as its not too difficult to control.
