Did anyone notice that that American-Taliban Guy has longhair? I saw them taking pictures of him on the news and his hair was in his face so they put it in a ponytail, it was sweet. Too bad hes a bad guy.

Eww! Beyond just being a traitor, that hair's probably never known a bottle of shampoo for the longest time. Gross!

: Eww! Beyond just being a traitor, …
I remember when the long hairs were hippies for peace.
Then the long hairs were American-flag-waving bigots who were beating up the Iranians because they were demonstrating peacefully against the oppressive Shah.
Now this American long hair wants to shoot up the Americans who are protesting terrorism.
What ever happened to the long hair hippies who refuse to fight for any side?

I've found, after getting married and having children, that there are some causes worth fighting for. Among them are the safety and freedom of my family. Anyone who threatens that, however indirectly, risks drawing my negative attention. Ummmm.... what's your point? Last I heard no one is being conscripted in America. And peace is nice, but sometimes you don't have a choice in the matter- like now. Update your rhetoric- it's the '00s, not the '70s, and this is not Vietnam.

Well, I mean to say that it was the HIPPIES then (and not the long-hairs now) who were fighting against conscription!

Hypocrisy, pure and simple. The Taliban's "friends" can wear long
hair. From their perspective, that's not a sin. With every other
guy, it's a sin to wear long hair, from their viewpoint.

It was similar to the Middle East and the Roman Empire when the slaves [and the soldiers?] got haircuts.

Needs a haircut (never thought I'd recommend one) right down to the Adam's apple.
