there are so many things i would like to discuss about long hair, but some are kind of touchy or confusing or hard to explain, and so i would rather not discuss them on the internet. i think when people argue things on the internet, it just gets people mad and frustrated because no one really understands the other person, but when people discuss things in person over a meal or something to drink, they can understand each other better and have better communication. the can connect and relate better.
so anyway, is there anything anyone knows of that has "longhair meetings" or something like that where i could discuss face to face? i live in eastern nebraska, and there seem to be not very many longhair things around here.

Bottom Line for me: I only do this over the internet. I will never
meet with anyone in person or discuss this stuff in person.
I have waist length hair but will never discuss hair in person
with anyone. The only one I discuss this stuff in person with
is my wife.
You say "i think when people argue things on the internet, it just gets people mad and frustrated because no one really understands the other person, but when people discuss things in person over a meal or something to drink, they can understand each other better and have better communication. the can connect and relate better." I have to
disagree. People in person tend to very nasty especially if they
dislike long hair. For that reason I go out of my way to avoid
these unpleasant situations.
why don't you....

...set up a time for longhair chat at this site. granted, it's not face-to-face, but it's more 'real time' than posting messages back and forth.

You mean this site has that ability? Is it similar to IM?

it's a java applet chat. it doesn't work like IM- click here and wait for it to load then enter a nickname.
