hair products that act like water...

Hi,
I've been growing my hair since August and its a little past my nose. This is a very awkward stage, and I'm trying to find a product to help control my hair. I've tried gels, but I don't like that they harden and form a helmet on my head. Greases and bryl cream and other such products feel sticky and greasy and i hate that. I really like the way my hair looks after a shower when its damp. It's shiny and under control and very cool looking. My question is is there a product that allows my hair to move and style like water? I f you could help me, I'd be extremelly appreciative.

I think Garnier have a product like that. At least someone does I've seen it on the TV. Couldn't tell you if it feels like wet hair though.
