Headbands for men

I've been thinking about wearing a headband, but I'm not sure if it's socially acceptable. World Cup soccer seems to have sparked new hairstyles especially for longhairs including headbands. What do you think? Would you wear one?

Many people here (both male and female) have a scarf(?) on their head. But not me of course, because I never put anything on my head.

You bet. Would and do whenever I'm doing anything that combines hard work and dirt. If you work hard enough to work up a sweat, you don't want a wet mop in your face, and you don't want your wet hair to act like a sponge to pick up any environmental dirt you may stir up.
Wearing one as a fashion statement is a different matter, though. I've tried it, but caught enough grief from my kids that I decided maybe I didn't look as cool as I felt. On some people it's a great look; others come across like rich white high school kids trying to dress like P-Daddy.
