Thanks for the complement on my hair. Above is a dry hair pic I took a few minutes ago with my PC camera. I'll have to try the olive oil thing. I'm game for anything when it comes to taming this thick hedge! That pic you wrote about is from about a month and a half ago.
No, I don't use any kind of straightning techniques at all, that's naturally the way it looks. I'd say my hair is straight for the most part, but it tends to wave in the back as it gets longer. Thanks again, and keep growing it long!!!!!

Hey man, your hair is almost exactly like mine, except that mine's a lot darker. I'd almost say that I think mine is just a little more wavy than yours... not sure though. How long are your bangs? Mine extend to just past my nose when I pull them down. =O Keep growin!

No, there aren't any pics of my hair on the board, unfortunately. I have to buy a webcam, and soon. I do have a pic of me, but it wasn't taken to be a hair pic, and it's kind of dark - not to mention that it's a few months old. As soon as I get a cam, I'll be sure to get some pics taken; I'd very much like to start keeping progress pics, anyway. =]
Also, I thought it was kinda cool that you have a mustache; I'm growing a mustache, too! lol I guess we're like twins in the hair regard. =P

I am 31 years old born November 27th, 1970. I was married December 3rd, 1988 at 18 years old and our first son was born November 24, 1989 when I was three days from turning 19 years old. Then my second son was born October 16th, 1991 when I was 20 (a little over a month from turning 21) and my youngest son was born December 14th, 1992 just after I turned 22 years old. I figure when their all grown I will still be quiet young with hair down to my belt, hopefully.

Hi treyn - just saw your most recent pic. Very impressive. i am very jealous. I think I’m at that stage when your hair-growing project starts to become a compulsion. My obsession worries me sometimes. Always looking in the mirror and checking for any further noticeable growth. I don’t think I’m all that vain (well no more than the next guy) - I would say I’m just very very excited about having long hair. I guess you could compare it to being a kid and waiting for Christmas!!
Anyway, I was wondering if you could post your hair growth time line. That being the length (top, back, sides) it was when you began growing right up to the point where you are now at say 1 or 2mth intervals. It would be really encouraging for me as I think, well I can only guess that we have similar type of hair (thick and mostly straight. )
