Vitamins!!!

I am an adament believer in multi vitamin and mineral supplements, especially in this day and age of fast food and unhealthy eating habits where most people don't get the essential vitamins their bodies need. Thus, with unhealthy eating habits come poor hair health as well. Here is a little bit of something I picked up at The Long Hair Site that I thought everyone might be interested in:
Without Vitamin A your hair becomes brittle, and abnormal dandruff can develop.
Without Vitamin B1 or B6 you can start to lose your hair.
Vitamin C stimulates the hair growth and regulates the generation of pigments in the hair strand.
Vitamin B12 supports feeding the root.
I take a 31 Multi Vitamin and Mineral Suppliment I bought at Wal-Mart made by One Source almost everyday(memory permitting, I am very forgetful). I suggest this for overall hair health. Just thought I would share! KEEP GROWING!!!!

Good topic!
I agree with taking the vitamins listed. Have been taking a time-released 'complete' B-vitamin tablet along with
C and A.
Will it make hair grow faster? Don't know, but it surely does look
healthy! I also cut out most drinking and greasy food like fries.
Heres a little something to give everybody a smile...

there are dietary sources for all synthesized nutrients found in vitamins- and in most if not all cases the food source is the better choice. beyond that, the less processing involved, the better.
unless your week to week schedule does not permit the regular preparation of appropriate food you should avoid relying on pills for nutrition. take along a small cooler packed with fresh fruits and vegetables. when you expect a busy day, instead of blowing $5-$10 at mcD's and $15 at CVS for a bottle of multis pack a sandwich and a bag of baby carrots or an apple. taking high doses of vitamins can be toxic- leading to liver and kidney damage.
if you get enough nutrition from your diet yu will not absorb many of the vitamins you're paying $ for... they will show up in your pee- turning it bright yellow. the excess minerals can build up as well. think kidney stones.

Ever since I started taking one-a-day vitamin pills I have noticed a significant difference in my health. I seem to be more healthy overall, complexion, mobility and even hair quality! (or is it just in my mind? I hope not!).
