My bangs are long enough to put in my mouth a little bit now! Yay! And I've calculated that by the time The Two Towers comes out on December 18, my bangs will be around chin length, hopefully longer. That means that the back will be... hmm... close to or at shoulder length. \m/ /me is happy
My brother comments a lot whenever he sees me brushing my hair out of my eyes, 'That would drive me insane.' I guess I'm weird, because having to brush the hair aside makes me actually feel kind of good, like it's something that I've never had to do before, and reminds me that I'm following through with my decision, that I'm getting somewhere. =D I'll sometimes say to people, 'Yeah, it's kind of annoying right now,' but in truth, I really don't mind much at all. Awkward stage hair (for me, anyway) >>>>>>>>> short hair. LONG hair not far away! Just wanted to share. =]

yes...that's one of the 'pleasures' of long hair.
And the fact that your brother wouldn't want it is proof
of that saying: "To each his own!"
Good Luck

Rock on!!! Congratulations :) I remember the first time I could put my hair in my mouth, it was great. Can't wait till my hair is that long again. It'll be AT LEAST 6 months till I'm at that point.
Anyway, your Lord of the Rings reference caught my attention! I'm a hardcore LOTR fan :) When The Two Towers comes out, my hair should be past my eyes at least... right now it's just about to my eyebrows when pulled down. But when the Return of the King comes out, I think I'll be able to officially call myself a longhair :)

Yeah, I'm a definite Tolkien fan as well, since way before I even knew there was a movie coming out. ^_^ Good that you're growing back out again. Keep it up! I think that by RotK, I'll have good Saruman-length hair (I hope). =] Keep it up!

My hair is a lot like Aragorn's hair, only I think mine is some what thicker. But my hair is the same length as his for the most part, except that his is a bit longer in the back. Plus I noticed something about him in some of the behind the scenes clips on the DVD's special features. He is the only longhair in the movie who's hair is ACTUALLY as long off screen. Everyone else in the movie with longhair wore wigs. Although very impressive wig work I might add. PEACE!!!!!

Did Sean Bean (Boromir) wear a wig as well? His hair looked quite real...
One sad fact: As I was watching some of the special features on the LOTR DVD, I saw that Viggo Mortenson (Aragorn) had cut his hair. He had very short blonde hair. I was like, "you b*stard!" :(

I'm not sure about Sean Bean (Boromir) and his hair. Don't remember seeing him in the special features behind the scenes. That is too bad about Aragorn though.

Then there's the very "unique" (that's a euphemism) style that Orlando Bloom (Legolas) was wearing in the Houghton Mifflin interview on the DVD. From beng the coolest longhaired character to a mohawk... scary!
I'm constantly amazed at how much actors love being chameleons with their looks! But, then again, acting is all about taking on different identities :-)

I love the hairstyles in LOTR. Too bad they're not all real (any?). I know this is a little off topic; but I've had a DVD (screener) rip of LOTR since March to watch on the computer!!! Yes, these movies are out there -- you just have to know where to look (and how to look). If anyone wants info, schedule a day for chat and I'll provide all info (I got "Signs" the day BEFORE it came out in theaters). Take care all.

I'm downloading "Triple X (Vin Diesel)" as I type. Set up a chat time and I'll tell those of you that don't know where (and how) to get this stuff.
