Keep your long hair

I understand in today's world long-haired guys are very scarce...instead you find more buzzedcut buzzheads around! Just remember though, throughout most of history the majority of men wore long hair; it was the norm! At times you might face a lot of pressure from family members, as well as others in society to cut it, but let me say one thing to everyone...BE TRUE TO YOURSELF...if your hair means a lot to you, KEEP IT! In the event you are refused a job, by all means make a big issue out of it, even take legal action. Remember folks, we must STAND UP for ourselves against those who oppress us!! We are all together in this and must stick together otherwise this will always be an ongoing issue! Long hair gives a man character, and brings forth his manhood! Remember...STAY REAL AND BE PROUD!!!!!!!!!!

Yesterday, I cut my hair and I hate it. I went from having shoulder length hair much like Jim Morrision (one of my hereos) to a James Dean, Elvis style 'do -- you know long pompadour on top, and long sides and tapered at neckline. I wore this style in the 80's and 90's and back then liked it very much. Someone once said that it is good to "re-invent" yourself every once in a while, which is why I cut it. I guess I wanted to relive my younger days when I was in my 20's as I am now 40 years old. The long and the short of it is (no pun intended) I hate the fact that I cut my hair and I cannot wait for it to grow again.
Bottom line: unless you are vey sure you want your hair short -- do not cut it. You are much better off, if you must cut it, to try a mild trim first.
