why olive oil sucks

I tried olive oil several times after reading something about it on here. I loved the initial results....very silky hair, very managable, not "poofy". Unfortunately, no matter how minute an amount I use, my hair is always terribly oily (imagine that!) and greasy. It looks wet all the time. It doesn't move. I would rather wash my hair than have olive oil in it. I use this stuff called "frizz ease" that I bought at wal-mart which works very well. Not too greasy or oily.

...I also use Frizz-Ease but I like the oil too.
...Everybody's hair is different of course. Are you
applying it to wet hair?
Then you blot the wet hair with a towel which soaks up the excess water along with the oil.
Try using less oil.
Then again, it may just not be right for you...
Good luck then...
On second thought...
