Tragic ending to my curls....for love...

Too late now ! Thanx if you find me handsome, but not all girls think so.
You know what, I cut my hair just for her, but not far out there, It`s more than shoulder length, but I do miss my long curls.
I did it just to get a chance to be loved back by her...
...but so far, my change has only been returned by ignorance from her part...I feel a bit sad...I lost my curls and I haven`t got her love back....

Love is a myth fed by gullible fools.
But fear not comrade! It shall grow back...If you let it.

I hold to the belief that if a girl makes you cut your hair then she isnt worth it. You should be accepted for who you are.

If a girl likes you... loves you... whatever... she'll do so whether you have long hair or not.
I've got news for you...

This girl NEVER loved you, if you felt like you had to give up a part of yourself (let's be realistic; that's what you did) just to get her 'love' back. That's complete and utter bullshit. Sorry you felt like you had to do that. But that's a lesson.

You Dumbass!
I don't care how wonderful she is, if she doesn't love you for you, curls and all, then forget her. She'll never make you happy, because you'll never be quite right for her.

giant mistake. the best thing she could do is ignore you now because you set the precedent of willingness to cut off part of you to win her over. whatever happened to accepting you for who you are? i'd rather stay single than cut my hair for the sake of relationship. if your new shorter hair 'won' her over then what would be next, your clothes? your job? pursuing acceptance by changing one's appearance does not project self-confidence. if you do not project confidence in yourself then women will likely find you less attractive. i have held out and found someone who likes me for who i am... not who she thinks she can change me into.

Are you serious or are you just pulling our combined legs?
I seem to remember there was a certain painter who cut off his ear for a woman...who he wasn't even in a relationship with. He had mental problems and was delusional about their future together...and about how his gesture would further his goal.

i did consider that this might be some sort of nickel tragedy staged for our 'benefit'. assuming that it's true, i find it difficult to summon up any sympathy at all for anyone STOOPID enough to cut his hair to 'win someone over'.
it is strange that he would post that he had cut after being advised against it and now wanting our sympathy because his appearance alteration has failed to win her over. something rather fishy here.

I could be jumping the gun here, but it sounds like this girl is one of two ways: either she is very materialistic or she is very controlling...either way would have been bad for you anyway. Materialistic - you would live each day "trying" to give her what she wanted with money that you don't have...Controlling - you would live each day "trying" to live up to her great expectations of you. If she had a problem with your hair, then that's her loss! Keep your head up...your hair will grow back. There's plenty of other fish out there...very pretty ones with very pretty personalisties and very pretty genuine hearts...and they love guys with long hair.

Like me, I wish I would find such beautiful man with such beautiful hair....I hope you learned your lesson, your hair won't make any difference in getting a girl, she has to like you like you are, if she can't she is just the WRONG girl! When you cut your hair she won't like you more but love makes blind....

Thanx for all your advice, but I think that what`s more important is that I did it for love, even if my love wasn`t returned. Love, for Heaven sake ismore important. Long hair is cool, but long hair with love is even better. I didn`t completely cut my hair. I`m still being nicknamed "Jesus".
Thanx..

One sided romantic love...isn't that like clapping with one hand?
If you don't know her well enough for her to have ANY type of feeling for you then what you are experiencing is lust/longing/desire/intrigue/curiosity/just about anything but love. Understand it and get over it.

I feel for you speedracer. Most of the people here have told you that she probably didn't really love you if she made you cut your hair. Never the less you did cut your hair for her, and in my books that shows that you were willing to make an effort for this woman.
Love didn't stick around for you this time, maybe next time you'll find someone that means just as much to you, and wants your curls to be longer.
From one heartbroken sucka to the next keep your chin high, you'll find better.
(there was some good avice posted too!)
