OK, so MOST Longhairs (or potential Longhairs)want hair on their HEAD...
BUT where else do you WANT/NOT WANT hair?
Seems like there's ALL KINDS of tastes out there...
SOME want a just a Mustache....others a Goatee....still others a Beard...
Short beard? Long Beard!
HAIR! Here...There....Everywhere!
Body hair--Natural--or
removed and Smoooooth!?
Choices? Preferences?
What are YOURS?

i do NOT want hair all over my body....and unfortunately, i am at the age where hair is growing on every surface i have! i'm no fuzzy bear or anything, i just have more than i want. i would much rather be "removed and smooth." and sometimes i do shave it all down, but it sure does grow back quickly.
i've tried the lotions that are "supposed" to take body hair off...they never work on me for whatever reason.
as far as my head hair, i like it down to the top of my chest...although, right now, it is more like scott stapp of "creed."
later!

well, I might like to try a goatee sometime if I can get my beard to grow. Have many bare areas so don't know if I can do it.
Have no basic idea right now of just HOW far down my back i want my
hair. I mean, when hair is in a tail just let it grow but when
to stop is something I will have to think about.
My body is fairly smooth but I could jump into bath of bees
wax and get the rest...but don't tell the bees.....he..he

ahh im hairy as hell all over and im only 17. I definately plan on having it permanently removed in a few years, its embarassing i can't even wear shorts. And taking shirt off isn't such a great idea for me either. Facial hair I also have but I plan on shaving when my hair gets longer.

I'm shooting for shoulder-length hair, with either 1/8" thick negative goatee (like giant mutton chops) or a 3-day beard. Assuming I can ever start growing facial hair. (It's pretty much coming in on all the parts of my face I don't want it at.) Basically, I want to look like Aragorn.
As for body hair, I'd rather not have it, but that's as far as it goes. I'm too apathetic to actually do anything about it.

On my head: at least 6 inches past my chin all the way around I think. Probably longer. I'll have to see when I get there. Definitely longer than shoulder length.
Facial hair: I don't like to be clean shaven, but I don't want a mustache or beard or anyting either. I like the way it looks and feels a few days after shaving. Just a shadow. My facial hair does not grow incredibly fast.
Body hair: Hmmm, well... I prefer to be nice and smooth, for the most part. I usually just shave it off of the areas I don't want it, which would be my chest, arms, shoulders, and back. I don't go as far as shaving my legs. That's a little too, umm... weird for me. And of course I leave the necessary areas alone...

mjtoo,
Yeah, I do. Of course, most people would probably think it's not a very manly thing to do, but I don't care. I just don't like to be hairy.
I just use a plain razor and shaving cream. Specifically, a plain disposable double-edged razor (Walgreens brand) without the lubricating strip (just never liked those things) and Aveeno shaving gel. I'd say once a week is good. And there might be better things to use, I just haven't tried any. The girly ones might work better, but I never tried them.

hey chris,
thanks for the info...yeah, some would think it isn't the "manly" thing to do, but i don;t care either....i don't wanna be overly hairy on my body. i wanna try some of that wax stuff, but i honestly don't know anyone well enough where i live to ask them to asist with my back. so, i continue to shave.
peace!

Chris,
How do you get your back? How do you articulate your self to reach certain areas? I am curious because I am considering trying to get those areas too. I personally never liked haveing body hair, it looks kinda nasty to me. I don't do anything now, but have in the past. Thanks

Well, I don't want so much hair in the carpet....
Also the shower drain. :-)
Seriously, where hair grows, it grows. I don't shave anywhere - haven't since 1977. I do trim in places....
I let my mane grow as long as it wants. I trim my beard to about an inch (2.5 cm) in length, except my mustache which I let grow to terminal because I don't like sharp hair ends where my tongue feels them. As for the rest of my body, if hair grows there or not really is not an issue. I just have what comes in.
Well, I do trim ear hairs, nose hairs, and eyebrow hairs that curl down into my eyes. Also mustache hairs that curl up into my nose and tickle. ;-)
Hairs on the backs of my ears can avoid detection for awhile, because they get lost in my mane. I found one that was three inches (8 cm) long once. Aren't you glad you asked? :-)

Has anyone tried these two substances? Do the work? Just curious
What about the hair growing back thicker or heavyier? Doesn't shaveing do this?

Shaving does no make your hair grow back thicker or heavier or anything like that. Hair is dead. Cutting dead matter does not affect the living part (the hair follicle). However, for an adolescent that shaves, it may seem like it gets thicker when it grows back in, it's just because their body is still growing.,
