A year and half passed, cutting tomorrow

Hey guys. I've been growing my hair non-stop since 2001 and it's below my shoulders now.... I think I'm going to cut my hair... I can't put up with having such puffy, kinky, frizzy hair anymore... You know, sometimes when I tie it and the ponytail would just point all over the place... But the problem is, I'm a bit uncomfortable cutting it after such a LONG and PAINFUL effort... Has anyone ever chopped your hair off? Anyone has any advice on how to deal with it?
Love,
TurboBoy

You might recall the shared wisdom here: if you are thinking about cutting your hair, wait two weeks. If during that time you don't waiver in your desire to cut it, then cut it. Sounds like, though, that you have some second thoughts. Why not try the two week rule?

My advice is, don't cut it, i've done it before and I was so sorry, because I really wanted it long and started growing it again. When your hair is much longer, like mid-back or longer, the fizzyness usually gets better and your hair is easier to control from my experience.
Stop ! Don`t cut it

Man,
It`s all worth it. Just because you`ve got a damaged hair problem, you should cut it. Try to solve the problem. Invest in hair care. This board is great to get advice.
don't worry, not me!

I guess someone likes my screen name, so they decidied to use a similar one. Anyway as for me, I don't intend on ever cuting my hair, after everything I have been through. I just don't want anyone to think of me after reading the original post.
As for turbo boy, got boost?
