shoulder length hair

When bugged at work and by friends about how long I was letting my hair grow, I first said I don't know but probably just over my shirt collar. Then I said, oh, this is the perfect length just touching the shoulders. Now it is over the back of my shoulders and I am thinking to the shoulderblades. I spoke to a young woman at work about this who has long hair and I said the longer it gets the less I want to cut it at all. She said that is always the case which is a surprise to me. And when I started growing it (2 yrs ago this coming Chirstmas) the bosses at work said as long as it is not half way down your back. Since most everybody in the world has had long hair when they were a teenager or at some point in their life and I never did, could you tell me is that usually the case, the longer the hair the longer you want to grow it?

I'd say that the longer it gets the more zeal a person would aquire to go farther with it. The longer my hair gets, the better I think it looks, therefore the longer I want to grow it. Good point and agreed, my friend! Peace!!!!!

Oh, yeah, I can definitely relate. When I first started growing my hair, I actually drew a picture of myself with shoulder-length hair, and titled it, "The Future Matt Hutchinson". It was sort of my own visual confirmation to myself of the desire I had to grow my hair long, and the goal I had set in regard to how long I wanted it. I only kept the picture for a few minutes after drawing it, but it was enough to assure myself that I had made the right decision.
13 years later, it's waist-length, and I STILL don't know when I'm going to finally reach a length I'm content with.
