Hats

My hair is now down just over my eyebrows when I pull the curl out of it. The front and sides are really curly but the back and top is more waves than curls. I can't really do anything with it right now to make it look decent. I've been wearing hats alot lately just so I don't have to bother with my hair in the morning before work. I've been told that it can cause a receiting hair line after wearing one quite often. I doubt this is true but has anyone else out there heard this? When I don't wear hats I get alot of compliments from the women, many of them reaching to touch my hair saying how much they love the curls. I have been getting alot of criticism from the guys though, but odly enough... all the guys that pick on me about it are going bald. HAHA... well... thanks for reading my post

i beleive that is an old wives tail about ur hair line.. baldness or even ur hair line receeding which isnt far from going bald anyhow is hereditory [ spelling? ] and not somethign that a hat can cause unless someone can prove otherwise? i wear a hat also and my hair is also like yours.. except its down to my nose when i pull the curl out of it. i really wouldnt worry about it unless your father has a receeding hair line or is bald..

Got a big laugh when reading your post! Confirms my experience that many (but not all) women are attracted to guys with long neat hair. The critisim from the bald men is an unconscious display of a jealous behavior.

I believe clarko is right, that it's an old wives tail and that heredity is the biggest cause of balding in men. In fact, because of that old wives tail, I did some research myself into the matter of balding and wearing hats, where I found the same answer. I also wear hats on a daily basis, 7 days a week because my hair is in the awkward stage. Unfortunately, I just entered the awkward stage so I foresee many more months of wearing a hat. Ohhh, the things we do! :)
