Hey guys, finally got round to posting after lurking for a few months.

I've been growing my hair for about 3 years now, as in I haven't had it cut for that long. I've had long hair 2 or 3 times before this over the years but ended up getting it cut due to it not looking too good. It now comfortably ties back and has done for about 6 months now.

Anyway, now that I'm a bit older the long hair suits me much more than it used to so there's no need for me to get it all cut off again :)

Getting to the point, since in the past I've ended up cutting it off I've had no need to trim it, but since I'm keeping it this time I need some advice on how to go about it.

All I need is the ends trimmed so I aint going to pay for something I could just as easily do myself, so what tips would you give?

Dry or wet? How much should I trim off? Should I take the same amount off all the hair? Any special way of cutting it?.........

Any advice would be great :)
