hehe good luck to all you growers out there, at 3.(something) months I noticed that the frizzyness in the center toward the back of my 1 and a half inch head of hair was an early tell tale sign of MPB, not very much mind you, I can still grow a short clipper cut less than 1 inch kinda ok, but any longer than that and I have a *hole* that spreads from the origin of my hair (you know that swirly pattern on your head) forward about an inch and all that hair gives way easily at a tug and at a couple of tugs I had made a hidable bald spot not so hideable so I went ahead and shaved it bald, which is my 2nd favorite way to wear hear is no hair at all, so that is not so bad. I wanted to see if I could grow it like I did in high school when the back was about mid-back and I was in the process of letting the front catch up when I moved down here to texas in the summer, and couldnt take the dang heat, I wore it up for a few months before I decided to try a homeade undercut with a razor and failed. hehe that was back in 1994. now that I tried it again and found that the hair in the center - back part of my hair is like elongated peach fuzz with not enough strength to grow beyond 2 inches then I think I will stay a baldie, but a happy one. I recommend the full head shave for those that cant get a good long head of hair growing for whatever reason. =) Ill still pop in here and read the posts (especially if they are LOTR related - love the books and the movie and the HAIR!) though even though im sporting a bald now though.

That is my 2nd favorite haircut. If my head starts to look like my grandpa and uncle, I will not fight it and I will go mr. clean/lex luther :) no horseshoe or hair flip for me.

Hair is an all-or-nothing deal. If I can't have it long...I won't have it at all.

Ahh man. Thats too bad. Well, your a long hair at heart anyway. Isn't that what really matters?? (hears crickets chirping, see's a tumble weed roll by) Anyway, we'll build a little monument in your honor. Another fallen soldier on the way to long hair. The rest of us, lets grab our gear and move out!! *end of soldier metaphor*
