Would a trim help?

Lately my hair has been getting VERY tangled at the ends. It takes me atleast 10-15 minutes just to work all the tangles out before I can even brush it. Would trimming the ends help this at all?
Would trim help? well...

Are you using a good conditioner like Aussie MOIST or SLIP?
If you think of hair as a bunch of threads, it would seem to me that
many different lengths WOULD tangle more easily[?]

Yeah I'm using Aussie moist conditioner, and shampoo too. It's great the day i wash it, almost no tangles at all. But the next day it's awful. It probably wouldn't be as bad if I washed everyday. But I just can't do that, it's just way too much trouble.

to spend on getting the tangles out.
If you do not want to wash daily (I do cause it works best for me)
then at least you need something for the ENDS.
If you could find some kind of spray-on conditioner for the ends only,
then maybe those tangles would be much easier to deal with?!

Yeah that is too long. I could do it quicker, but don't wanna cause any damage. That's a good idea about something just for the ends. Any suggestions on a good product? I use Infusium 23 leave-in after I wash. You think it might help to use a little of it on the ends when trying to detangle?
