Would you ever cut?

For a woman? Money? A car? Explain why or why not. I myself would only do it for a woman I really cared about b/c when I fall in love my mind stops working, other than that I probably wouldn't cut it.

Hint -- The opposite is, indeed, true. ;)

For a woman? No. If they don't like me just because of my hair length, they I dont want to know them either. I don't judge women by their hair style (or any other physical properties, for that matter) so I expect the same respect from them. If money became an issue and I couldn't get a job because of my hair length, then I might cut it, but only if I'm broke to the point of not being able to buy food and other essentials. So far I haven't had a problem getting a job with my hair. Most employers don't even bring it up.

With all due respect, and I hope you don't take this the wrong way, if you think you're "in-love" yet the better half you're allegedly in-love with wants you to cut your hair, then you need to discern whether or not it actually is love and not something else. The real kind of love that we all so desparately want and need is completely indifferent to that line of questioning and thought (on her part, that is). If they're making an issue of your hair, then it may be easier to conclude that they're making less of an issue of more important things such as character qualities, personality traits, temperaments, etc; all of those things that are actually you and not the length of hair hanging off the top of your head. That's my $0.02 on it.
On the other hand, if your hair is being used as a means of exemplifying a rather not-so-desirable character trait on your part, then that's something that would need to be addressed.
And yeah, I've cut mine for a girl once, and I regretted thereafter.
Regards,
B

No, I would not, for these reasons -
I will only have *ONE* awkward stage in my life! (going for terminal length :)
I've also found that the girls that don't like my long (about 9" now) hair,
also have issues with several of my personality 'features', also they tend to be more closed minded/less fun to talk to or be with than ones that do...
jobs? nah, i've had a job in *retail* (at a radioshack)
for the past year or so, and even went through the dreaded awkward stage (tm) w/ NO gel (or anything else for that matter)
and didn't get any complaints from either customers or my boss...
in short (no pun intended), I'll never cut mine again...!

Nah, probably not. I often think I might need to cut for a job or something but then I think like this:
If I have to have a haircut for a job then I am committing myself to that job 24/7 and I should damned well get paid for it. I can't just stick my hair back on and resume being me when I get out of the office at the end of the day. I'm also looking for a 'behind the scenes/technical' job anyway. I also currently work in retail and all my colleagues love my locks!
Not on your nelly!

I'd get mine cut if:
I started to go noticeably bald
If someone offered me a six-figure sum to do it!
If everybody else, male and female, cut their hair short.
I plan to keep it long for a couple of years and then review the situation.
Cheers, Barry
