Looks great. I wish my hair grew that fast! I've been growing mine out from a shaved head for about 4 months and is nowhere near half your progress.

my hair looked EXACTLY like yours at one year (except my hair is black) I'm now at 16 months or so, maybe one of these days I'll figure out how to post a pic so you can get an idea of what yours will look like later on.

The code for posting a pic is
- If you paste it in as it appears as your browser, with the URL of the image there, it will display the image. You'll need somewhere to upload your pic... There aren't any free hosts left that allow outside linking for images, however i'm sure there are people here who would host any pics for you, if you email them. I have some webspace with my ISP, and i would be happy to stick any pictures you have on to it, if you email me. I think i've seen some other people offer to do this as well. Alternatively, you could just create a page of pics on Geocities or somewhere... I've noticed several people use a specific photo-gallery site for this. Quite a good idea if you're posting progress pics reguarly, since people can see your progress over time for themselves.
Will's hair is looking really good for a year's growth! It appears to be in the awkward stage, yet it looks really good. How far do you think you are from putting it into a ponytail, Will? It looks as if you could get alot of the hair into a high-ish ponytail already!

What you'd want is a "less than" sign, and a "greater than" sign, with the following in the middle:

I can get lots of it into a ponytail, the bangs arent long enough yet but will go behind my ears

Dosen't make sence to me either. "maintenance cut" will keep you in the akward stage forever.

Well the maintenance cut was just an idea to get it evened up more, im not sure if ill be taking it yet though

I say don't do it. It's looking good, and if it was about 2/3 inches longer in the back you wouldn't have the "awkward stage" look. Normally I would say maintenance cuts are good, but you're so close that there's no point really.

Hey Will...just curious...did you take your pictures with a digital camera? They look really "grainy" on my moniter.

I took them with a cheap webcam, not very good quality at all, have to get a lot of artificial light in too
