2-n-1

I recently purchased Pantene 2n1 Shampoo+Conditioner since I have read some good things about Pantene products. I was wondering how most of you feel about this product, if you've tried it, do you like the shampoo & conditioner in 1 or prefer seperate.
Thanks for your views.
Re: 2-n-1? How does that work?

Pantene is considered to be poor quality shampoo/conditioner. It's been compared to using regular soap on your hair (which if you don't already know is not the best for your hair). It'll work fine for cleaning short hair.
I've always looked at 2in1 products as an oxymoron.

Two in one products work by using silicones which bond to the hair more strongly than they bond to detergent. This allows the silicone to stay in your hair while shamppooing and even after rinsing. Of course the flip side is that you can get an accumulation of silicones after some period of time. This accumulation can be very hard to get out, even with a clarifying shampoo.

2-in-1 shampoos are never good. They have major buildup on your scalp and are generally not that great at what they do. They make your hair very dry and lifeless. The only shampoo/conditioner I use is Aussie Moist. Aussie has the best products, IMO. Not only is the shampoo/conditioner superb, but the leave-in and Aussie Slip are miracle workers. I suggest everyone at LEAST try them. But thats just opinion. And yes, 2-in-1 is an oxymoron. :-)
Cheers.

I'm really very surprised at the negative comments about Pantene 2in1. When I decided that I was finally going to grow the long hair I've always wanted, I naturally had to go went through that damned awkward stage. And I was very worried about what my hair would look like, because, to be quite honest, I've seen alot nicer hair. One day I stopped at the store and bought a bottle of Pantene 2in1. I have to tell you, if it wasn't for the way it made my hair look and feel, I probably would never have made it through that stage. I still use Pantene 2in1. I think it's the greatest thing to ever happen to my hair, honest.
But if anyone has tried something else that they think is really great, please let us all know about it.
