ESQUIRE

Anyone seen the most recent Esquire magazine? This type of magazine has a lot of full page photo layouts of male models. To my surprise, and delight, most of the models in the ads have relatively long hair. OK, so none have really long hair, but some have shoulder length hair. And it's just so nice to look through a mogazine and NOT to see all the guys with buzz cuts or shaved heads.

Hmmm ... I much prefer watching full page photo layouts of FEMALE models if I can help it!

I notice MANY magazines...including those 'celecrity' mags...
that now use both short & longish haired guys.
Because women

whether they'll admit it or not, prefer a man with long hair.
You guys think I'm just pulling your leg because I LOVE LONG HAIRED MEN, but if you look at any man at the time he becomes the "most sexy man in show business" HE HAS LONG HAIR, or at least "longish" hair, say to the shoulder. Fabio, Brad Pitt, Mel Gibson, Keano Reaves, (could go back to Leaf Garret, Shawn Cassidy, Peter Frampton, KISS...but I won't) etc. all had long"ish" hair when they were voted the hottest men in show business.
The thing is, there aren't many men around who are willing to let their hair GET long. Men tend to look down on other men who have longer hair...I think it's pure jealousy because they aren't bold enough to do it themselves, or can't because of job related matters. But, they ARE jealous because they know that women prefer the "long hair look" on a man. You have to be quite a man to pull it off and take the crap that other men give you.
Of course, there are men who look better with short hair (don't ask me to list any, I can't think of any off hand...). You will never see a man who looks good with short hair give a man with long hair any hassles. They will be the men who compliment men with long hair. They won't feel threatened by the long hair because they know they look good the way they are.
Completely lost my train of thought and I'm rambling now...LOL! Excuse me, it's Friday and the wine spritzers are flowing!

For most guys (outside of this board), shoulder length hair is really long hair.
