Hair trims

How often do you guys with all one length long hair, mid back or longer get it trimmed. My hair is almost waist length. In the back, it is longer in the center than the sides. Kind of "V" shaped. I would say the center is about 3 inches longer than the sides. So the center is probably waist length. I also have a few split ends, nothing major. I have notices that the ends sometimes curl, and they are getting thinner. Should I trim it all one length or just let it grow.

I get the ends evened up about every 3-4 months.

if your already at waist length i dont see why you sholdnt get it trimmed its not like it will be difficult to grow back like it would be through an awkward stage for example
