Dressing up wedding

I am going to a rather formal wedding in one month. I would like to hear suggestions for what to do with my hair to "dress it up". One thought I had was the French braid with pony combination I posted in a message a few days ago, probably accented with a silver tail cuff.
Are there other things I can do other than a standard pony tail?

Half fish tail braid, though it is very hard to do on yourself.

In order to stave off the old biddies, maiden Aunts, and other narrow-minded fossils that make up the largest part of wedding receptions, have your hair done by a professional--They're not just there to cut hair. The right braid would look awsome. Take the cuff to them too. It shouldn't cost too much either.

: I don't know to what degree you want to "dress it up" but the french braid sounds good but also maybe have who ever does your hair put some vertical barrell curls into the ponytail and secure the top w/ the haircuff. Whatever you end up with be sure to snap some digitals.
Good Luck,
Dan
Just don't upstage the Bride!
