Anyone know the difference between American Crew pomade and the American Crew grooming cream? They both give the same description but there has to be a difference. BTW the pomade is great, a pomade that works, too bad I had to buy the garbage physique pomade to find out.

FYI, I've used both the aveda and aura pomades and both are very nice! the aura has a nicer scent but the aveda has a better consistancy.

I've used American Crew's Pomade, Grooming Cream and their new product, Forming Cream. The pomade works best on short to medium hair, and it leaves the hair damp looking but not wet. The hold factor is good but not strong. The Grooming Cream works better on medium length hair and gives very good hold but it will give your hair a very shiny look. The Forming Cream also gives hair a very good hold but doesn't leave it wet looking like the Grooming Creme. The Pomade and Forming Creme smell nice while the Grooming Creme has a somewhat unpleasant smell. Depending on how much hold you want, you should go with the Pomade or Forming Creme.
