HEIGHT, HAIR AND GOAL (A Thought.)

For those growing their hair long, a thought recently crossed my mind. Usually guys would like to be on the Tall side. But if so, the wait to grow your hair to mid-back or further is going to take much longer to reach its goal than that of a shorter man. (Just pure math.) At the rate of 6" a year, if you are 5'7" your hair will reach its goal faster because of height. At 6' or taller, the wait will be vastly increased. So, for the taller among you seeing photos of what (?) was able to do in 1-1/2 years, don't dispair.........you may be looking at a shorter person. Hmmmmmmmm......perhaps in this particular case NOT being tall is a blessing?

Well, not really forever. But isn't it a bummer? (3" is 6 months!) I'm at 6' myself, so my wait won't be so long, but I think ALL of us get impatient at times waiting-it-out to achieve our goal. But do not despair......hang in there. You'll make it. Good luck. By the way, I don't believe height will carry with it any bearing on how one looks in the end. Nature looks pretty nice. And Nature has dictated it natural for us to have long hair. Nature has a reason for everything..........it's just that man goes against it and everytime seems to create a mess of things when he does.

Hi Justin,
Isn't it possible that hair on bigger people grows faster, so that it is proportional to their size? (I have no idea)
I'm 5'2" and let me tell you, it is better to be tall if you have long hair. When you're my size it's a lot easier for people to look right at you and still think you're a woman. And I don't even have long hair yet! :)

HI
I would think whatever height one was, the growth rate for hair would still average-out at 6" per year. As for others thinking you are a Woman because of your height..........this one beats me. Does this also mean a tall Woman is now suddenly mistaken for a Man? Personally, I would pay no attention to such remarks. Some people will think-up anything they can to get a "jab" in at a Longhair. So, with them you can never win. BUT..........if you desire to be a Longhair, to yourself you are the winner which is most important for you. Afterall, to live a life to please others (that can never be pleased) robs you of your freedom to be yourself. Take care.
