Hair texture and type as you age

Does your hair change texture as you age? Can it go from very straight at say 13 years old to curly or wavy by the time youre 20? Is this a natural thing or is it the result of years of misuse? Can anything be done to restore softness in hair that is now very dry and brittle? Give me a hand please, Thank you very much.

In short...YES...your texture does change as you age. Remarkable but true. Did you know that normally flat strands are curly and rounded shafts are more straight hair? As you age, for some reason, the strands change. I have noticed that the White hair I am now growing is seemingly healthier than the hair I used to have. I know there are sites that explain it all but my memory escapes me as to where their site is.
Yes, hair changes with age is my answer. I know this to be true. Not to worry...it's just another change in the life cycle.
