9 Months Growing

Hey...I'm 14 Years Old and in a metal band and I'm the only one with the balls to grow my hair out...haha
I've been growing now for 9 months and I have Pretty wavy/curly hair...when pulled down, the hair on the front of my head reaches past my lower lip, but it curls up to my eyes. The back part of my head already ways itself down and I'm about an anch away from being able to push the front behind my ears and tie the rest back. Its going very good. The only thing im worried about is that my last haircut nine months ago was a buzz. I got it about 1/4 inch shorter on the sides and back than the top. Will this matter when it gets "long" right now its totally unnoticable.
Thanks for Any Help...

That won't matter at all, in fact, that will help in the evening it out all around process when it gets longer. That is if that's what you want. Most buzz cuts are that way anyway. It'll be just fine.

I can't speak re: long term changes, as I myself have but 15 months of hair growth to my credit, but I don't think it's something to be concerned over. I too grew my hair out of a buzz cut. When I initially resolved on growing it out, I was concerned that my hair, once in the awkward stages, would look awfully 'mullet-ish' since my hair would be growing from a cut that leaves almost no hair on the sides and back but just a little bit at the front (too short to be called bangs... You know, that piece that people are supposed to gel and have sticking up to look cool, supposedly). Fortunately, that never turned out as bad as I had feared, and I don't expect conditions to get any worse than they ever were.
If you're really concerned about what to expect in the next few months, scroll down a few posts... I recently posted my 15 month progress pic (Name's nWo_Slapnut).
Good luck with your band and all.

Hey, from one metal musician to another, it doesn't take balls to grow your hair, just patience and determination.
