Are you sure you're at 14 months? Little a little short to me. Im at 9 months and mine is longer and it comes to my top lip. Shrug. Maybe you just have curly hair?

Well, I have 7 inches of hair now... I made up my mind to start growing in mid July, 2002, and had about 1.5 inch long hair (about). So, the 7 inches of hair I have now would mean I've been growing for 14 months (from a bald head). Note that I've never had a bald head, I'm just saying that 14 months = 7 inches of hair (which I have now). My primary goal for long hair is about 10 inches, but I project that I'll want at least 12-14 inches of hair before it starts to look really long. And yes, I have really curly hair in some places, "bananna curls" if you will. ;)

Just saying it looks really short to be growing it that long. Thats all.

How many inches long is your hair? If yours is really straight, 7 inches would indeed touch your lower lip. If I pull mine down when it's wet it will too touch my lower lip. :)

Your hair is nice & wavy! Some people would love to have some
of those curls...naturally...and without perms.
It is difficult to compare growing time & lengths because
everyone's hair is different. Obviously, straight hair will
show the length more quickly because any curling will use up
some of that length.
Anyway, your hair looks great!
Keep on posting your pics from time to time and...
Good Luck!

You are making progress and your hair looks good. I'm sure the long wait will be worthwhile when you have shoulder-length curly hair! Thanks for posting the update.
