Head Bands..

I've been growing my hair for 5 and half months now, and i'm sure i'm entering the awkward stage.!! It's getting more and more difficult to keep my hair under control, especially the hair behind my ears. So i'm starting to look into measures to control it's maddness :¬)
So what do you guys think of using a hair band.? i'm thinking of the one david beckham uses, i can't find any pictures but it looks quite thin and is a black hairband, I also thought of a bandana but here in england you just don't see people wearing them anymore, and i don't really like the way they look,I HATE baseball caps and my beanie hat is only wearable in the colder months of the year.
I like the idea of the hairband, i think it will keep the sides and top under control, the back of my hair is fine. I suppose i've goto try it and stuff what some people will say.!!
On a different note, i've just returned from a weeks holiday in the Canari Islands (Lads holiday :¬)) and just before going i struggled with having my hair cut.!! but no i didn't and have realised that i'm going to see this hair growing out until my hair is in a ponytail :¬) I didn't realised just how many people have the Standard Buzz cut.! and i refuse to go along with all the other blind sheep and follow fashion.... no matter how many times i get called a Yeti head from my mates..

With each month that goes by I see fewer buzzcuts, and more 'just got out of bed' and 'awkward stage' hair. The trend still looks like it's towards longer hair for men. I saw a man with an Alice band the other day. Does look a bit odd, but that's because it's unusual. Beckham might have set a trend. Don't think I'll be buying/borrowing one though!!!

Prana makes cool headbands that lots of men i have seen wear. very cool in the rock climbing and yoga community. give it a try.
