longhair = no dandruff?

Before:
Short hair, shampoo everyday, no conditioner, use 'Head & Shoulders'
three times a week, use Aussie 4 times a week, never heard of
the 'Men's Long Hair Hyperboard' Still had dandruff.
After:
One year since last haircut, shampoo everyday, condition everyday,
use only Aussie stuff, stopped using H&S months ago, gained hair
wisdom from reading 'Men's Long Hair Hyperboard' and the web sites
of the 'regulars'. No dandruff.
Anyone else with a similar experience? Is it the longer hair
length? The conditioning? This hyperboard? :-)
I have a full bottle of that Head & Shoulder's stuff if anyone wants
it (ha!).

Well, I use Aussie too, but I'm also experimenting with other brands
just in case they change their ingredients.
I'm trying out a shampoo tomorrow and will give my full report here.
As far as the conditioner is concerned, I use Aussie Moist but
this morning I skipped it entirely (an experiment) and tried out
a anti-frizz product that claims to actually draw in moisture during the day
while preventing humidity attacks on the hair...
so far it is producing amazing results and may do wonders for
the Akward Phasers around here!
I will give a REPORT as soon as I have determined its properties for sure!
Dandruff...not a speck! Could it be the products used?
OR does LONGer hair have something to do with it?

Yes, it does, imo.
Growing hair out does change the scalp environment; slightly changing the amount of sebum (hair oil) being generated, changing the ph of the scalp etc... and it can stop dandruff occuring.
I'm hedging my bets however, and have started to use Nizoral shampoo since a few weeks, which should cut down on the use of anti-dandruff shampoo to once per week in any case (using reg. shampoo in between).
I been growing my hair out since 6 months which isn't much.

Ive been using a combination of H&S with pantene as the conditioner, it seems to work alright.
