Question about baths and protein

are baths and showers the same for washing hair? I personally use baths and I love it because I can put my whole head underwater to really rinse the shampoo out. and also people say that vitamins are really the most important for hair, but what about protein? I mean isnt hair made of protein? I would think eating alot of foods that are high in it, but preferably low in fat would be the main concern. like fish and lean meats, whats the real deal?

I like baths too but the danger with rinsing in a bath is that when you sit up a some of the shampoo/soap/scum ends up back on your hair. Bath water tends to be quite hot too which may not be so good for your hair. If I want to lie down in the bath I do but then I rinse afterwards with cool water with the shower attachment. I usually finish off with cold water.
