In my small town...

Not that it really matters, but i think in my town long hair is becomming the new trend. There are atleast 20 kids in my school with hair beyond the bottom of their ears and in one of my classes i heard 3 guys mention that they were growing out their hair the same as i am. We are all in the same stage (not much hair length at all) and none of us talk on a regular basis so its not like one of us talked the other into growing out his hair. I think its good to know that long hair is becomming more popular.

Yes, I definitely see LOTs more "awkward phasers" out there.
What does it mean? I know it doesn't necessarily mean they will be
growing their hair long...but who knows.

I've noticed that in my town too, although it's a bit more liberal than the rest of the state since it's by a university. Just in the past two years the number of longhairs in my high school went from hardly any to more than a dozen(my school isn't that big either). It certainly takes away a lot of negative pressures off my hair-growing process, and I truly admire those of you in schools with no other longhairs.
