1. Ever used both brands with shampoo and conditioner?
2. Which kinda hair do you have?
3. Which one is the best?

I have thick curly hair... my hair's rather strange, actually, because the longer it gets, the less curly it tends to be...
so i'm not sure if i can classify it as 'curly'.
I tried pantene pro last year, when I only lasted 3 months :( without a haircut. But I didn't find it to my satisfaction.
I've recently discovered Garnier Fructis, and I've been quite happy with it...the 2 in 1 shampoo + conditioner.... it apparently makes my overall head of hair look thinner, and more streamlined. The reason for that is not because it actually thins my hair strands, but rather, it adds weight to each hair, and the added weight, helps keep all of my long hairs aligned with each other, and thereby it alleviates frizz/poofyness.
Aside from that, Garnier Fructis is inexpensive...well, at least here in nyc.

1. Yes.
2. Thick and coarse with a tendency to frizz. Chin length at front and collar length at back.
3. For me, Pantene Pro V (Smooth and Sleek)is much, much better because it makes my hair lie flat.
P.S. I find the Pantene stuff is also better than Aussie Moist.

The effects are hard to monitor. We are talking here about long term effect, but upon experience, Garnier`s better. But that`s not to say that Pantene is bad.
The best product I believe is L`Oreal, especially the yellow one with Ceramide.

Just checking to see if everyone posting on this thread has seen a number of previous threads here about 2 in 1 products.
