Treyn,
Have you tried turning the cap around and wear it backwards?

I usually wear mine backwards. In my opinion, the best hat to wear backwards is a FlexFit fitted hat. It's a cool look.
That reminds me. Next month I'll take a few pictures wear I'm wearing my new hat, too. :)

Unfortunatley for me, a baseball cap is out of the question. I'll need to go out one weekend and try some different hats on. The cap is to small for my hair type. For the most part, recently I just like my hair out and loose.
Actually, a lot...

Yea, I do this a lot, especially when riding my motorcycle so the wind won't blow it off. I know it's foolishness, but I am not too fond of helmits when I ride. Peace!

Yeah! I like that look better. If you had your hair behind the ears while wearing the cap normal, how does it look? I'll be sending another picture of me out this week, because my hair is again going through another stage. I'm begining to like it and I can almost foresee how cool my hair is going to be when it gets past shoulder length.
Cheers!

Even though his decision may not be the best or the smartest, I believe his son is old enough to know about safety. You should never wish death upon people, reguardless of the situation. It is unapropriate for life and for this board.

I think hes a good father, hes not sitting and dictating the way his son has to look or anything. He's letting his song grow his hair out if he wants to or not. You have no judgement on his ways of parenting, and you need to grow up.

As Timothy of Chicago, a long time reader, poster and long hair enthusiast let me state for the record that this is not my post.
To Timothy the poster of this message.....although Treyn may cast some caution to the wind by not wearing a helmet when he rides his cycle (like not wearing a seatbelt when you get in a car) it is his choice. Besides, Treyn is a thoughtful and peaceful guy. I've never read posts from him with the kind of aggression and hostility you put in yours. What IS your problem? Like another poster said "grow up".........and by the way, stop SCREAMING while you're at it.

Thank You, my friend...

Listen, Timothy, you make a very good point when saying that this is not a good example for my kids. I have my children wear a helmet when they ride with me, which they don't ride with me very often. Your aggression towards me on this subject is well seated and I have no problem with it. I am also aware that it is rather hypocritical for me to make my children wear a helmet while not showing the example by wearing it myself, but for now it is not law in Illinois to wear a helmet, most guys and women around this area who ride don't wear helmets. I think it is more of an image thing with guys who don't wear helmets, and I must admit that it is kind of an image thing for me not to wear it. On longer extended trips, I do wear my helmet, but just riding to work and here around town I don't. Just my preference, which is the preference of most people I see. No, I wouldn't jump off a cliff if any of these other riders were to tell me to, it is just a personal preference of mine. I thank you for the concern for my children. Death wishes and name calling doesn't hurt me, especially when the person has a point. My e-mail link is above if you feel the need for anymore dicussion or maybe you want to throw a virus my way or something. You take care now. Peace!

While I respect your desire to "look good", while riding your bike, I feel compelled to encourage you to reconsider your position. Your hair may look good now, but your story may prove quite different, should the city ever find itself having to scrape your brain matter off the pavement while you lie, unconcious, on the road.
Helmets were designed for a single purpose: to protect the human skull. When driving something as dangerous as a motorcyle, one must be especially concious of their environment and the terrain. Considering this, one's desire to look good must take a back seat to one's safety. There can be no excuse for not wearing a helmet, regardless of what the law says.
In the end, what's popular is not always right. What's right is not always popular.
Highly noble and understood (n/t)

The point is made without resorting to personal mud slinging. In the US there is still the freedom of choice on helmet wearing - choices carry consequences. Treyn is an adult and capable of weighing up those consequences. It's his choice, his life. Grow up.
