Hi, i need some advice before cutting my hair in anger:
ive growing my hair since 25 october 2002, when i went and told the hairdresser (which now i regret)that i wanted to grow my hair long but my hair looked bad (didnt know either about awkward phase or this board's existance)then the guy chopped my nice even hair into this (haha, sorry but its the only pic i found with the hairstyle i had http://www.geocities.com/comadaya1288/files/p5.jpg its long on the top and buzz cut on the back,) when i looked at the mirror i wasnt dissapointed so i didnt care, but... at this moment i have a 7,84 inch fringe, and 3 inches on the lower back! i have the opposite of a mullet! ahgghghghh! what should i do? how can i even it out? or should i wait?

I think what you got was an undercut. I would just leave it be and grow it out. A few people on this board have grown out an undercut and it looks good. And remember, when your growing your hair out stay away from scissors =-O
just wait it out...

You DID say your WEREN'T dissapointed, so don't worry about it. I think that would look kind of cool on some people. I say just start growing out the back again and leave EVERYTHING ALONE!! No evening things out, no cutting, no tucking, just leave things be.....Im sure its fine, and no ones ever been criticized for having a reverse mullet! In a year or so, you'll be laughing!

hmmmm..a reverse mullet. Interesting. No, keep it growing, especially if you've got straight hair. Otherwise when the back's long you'll have to wait for the front to catch up! I'd give it a trim in about 6 months or so, just to tidy up the ends (by trim I mean not more than 1 cm off) and just keep going from there.
Cheers,
A
