hair on back of neck

Hey guys,
I've been growing my hair for nearly a year now, and I'm just wondering what I should do about some hairs on the back of my neck that's much finer than my normal hair. Will their terminal length be long enough that they'll all just blend in?

From what i've read most guys just leave it. Im gonna leave mine alone, the only difference about them is that they're a blondish color and finer.

The way to tell if you should or should not shave of those hairs (which, by nature
are meant to STAY rather short & fuzzy) is whether or not
they are BOTHERing you.
If they feel funny, if they tickle or itch or distract...
then you should consider shaving them off...
Hair way down on the neck can look 'dirty' when you
have your hair in a tail
Think about it.

Hi -
Length won't be long, but depends how "fine and lite in colour" they are. If very very dark brown or something, (me) they really look kind of grubby. Dirty could be a better way to define this look with beautiful Long Hair flowing right through the center of it. Alas, guess I (because of the dark colour) choose to keep this area shaved so that the long hair will look best of all without a "garbage-dump scene" background. Each to his own I guess. Just take a mirror in hand and look into it with a mirror in back so that you can see just how all looks...........that will tell you in 1 second.

Mine never matched the growth of the rest of my hair and I eventually took if off. There is a definate difference between those hairs and the rest of your hair and it becomes much more apparent as it gets longer. Once they are gone you will need to keep trimming them every few months but unless you are into total hair neglect it isn't really any inconvience and it looks much better when tied back.
Much of it has to do with the appearance of it just like with beards. You can let a beard just feather out (looks scraggly if you can't grow a full beard) or you can trim the edges to give it a defined "cleaned-up" look.

I thought most hairdressers shave the back of guys' necks anyway? Except if they can't tell where the neck hair ends and the back hair begins! That's the case with a friend of mine...poor kid, I love him to death though.
Yes, must not get off on tangents. Shave the suckers, I say. That's my professional female opinion ^_^
