i put a bit of gel in my hair, comb with fingers, then shake my head around. Makes it define the curls nicely. Then i just do a bit of maintanence throughout the day. Yah, i use to comb it back with water too. (with gel of course) If you have curly hair, make gel your friend, you'll need him for a year or so, till gravity gives you a break! *Heck, im gonna need gel for 2 years and beyond!! haha*

Ah...there are few things better than long curly hair on a guy...good job ^_^
Actually, water is the reason that hair frizzes in the first place (I'm sure you find that out on super-humid days). Like Jude says, gel is definitely your friend. Mousse is also nice if you want something softer-looking. Also, there are things called anti-humecants which basically protect hair from humidity (the enemy of all people with hair, long or not). Frizz-Ease is an example, but experiment and see what works. Good luck!
