WWE's Kevin Nash, Bald

For those wrasslin' fans who don't visit wrestlecrap on a weekly basis (www.wrestlecrap.com), someone recently posted a photo to mock what Kevin Nash might look like once he loses his (long!) hair to Chris Jericho. This was meant to be a joke, as opposed to a serious photo.

For those of us who haven't followed wrestling since the Bret the Hit Man Hart was around and before his brother died, what are you talking
about?
I used to like wrestling, the WWF had some really good story lines.
The people were interesting the, wrestlers had some really nice long
hair.
Then it went down hill. They all cut their hair,
the story lines got lame, the whole thing got Boring.
I even heard an evil rumor that the WWF and Ted Turners wrestlers
merged. Someone please tell me that isn't true.

I saw Nash walking thru the airport here in Arizona. He was on way home, I was heading out on vacation. Damn, he is so tall.
I gave up on wrestling in early 90's. It is so much more now on the goofy storylines than actually seeing any wrestling like it used to be on tv. Plus, too many Paperviews, it gets watered down. I remember when it was just wrestlemania in the WWF.
I forgot what was the big travelling event in the old NWA?

... Ah.... Those were the days.... I pretty much agree with everything you have to say - not just about how there used to be so many wrestlers with great long hair, but how big-time wrestling has really taken a turn in terms of its quality. Interestingly enough, as matches and storylines become lamer and lamer, more and more wrestlers are doing away with their hair... Apparently, having everyone look like a clone of everyone else is supposed to be a surefire way of rekindling the public's interest in profesional wrestling.
Vince McMahon's wrestling empire - formerly called the World Wrestling Federation - ended up winning the battle of ratings with World Championship Wrestling and bought out the rights to the company. McMahon's company underwent a name change to World Wrestling Entertainment, and, to this very day, holds down some of WCW and ECW's most tallented grapplers in a display of unyielding resentment.
Anyway, the photo I posted was intended to prepare this board for the sight of yet another long haired male wrestler (possibly an inspiration to would-be growers out there) who will have done away with his hair. Kevin Nash is scheduled to wrestle Chris Jericho in a hair vs. hair match, and apparently Nash is set to loose both the match as well as his hair (as per the bout's stipulation). Better him than Jericho, I say, not that my preference makes the presence of longhair in wrestling any less scarce.

Kevin Nash wants to lose his hair. Was his choice. People get tired of long hair, especially after so many years. I think he is cutting it for a movie he is gonna do or something like that.

This is Donnie Bowers...I live in good old Virgina...anyway, this is really pissing me off...this is the only reason why I am growing my hair out. I would very much like to start a useless petition (Since Vince is too powerful to listen to us) stating that wrestlin was much better as it was...with the long hair all over the place. It makes me sad...
