Swimming Pool Blues

Hi all,
I’m going on holiday soon :). I'll be spending lots of time in the pool and the in the ocean but I’m concerned about the damage the chlorine in pool water (and salt water) may do to my hair.
Could washing and conditioning my hair every day help to reduce the damage?
Thanks!

I always find the ocean salt water to be very kind and good for my hair. I wouldn't worry there at all. As for chlorine, unless you are going to spend hours each day in the water, then a simple rinsing should be enough. The only time I have seen chlorine actually ruin hair is for swimmers who are swimming laps daily, for hours.

Most pools today now use bromine.
