Navajo Bun - Again

Heat finally got too me, especially when hiking. And my hair's down to my tail end and I keep getting it tangled up when I'm sleeping.
So, started to do a modified Navajo Bun. Here in the canyonlands near the reservation you see a lot of Navajo men with their long hair tied up. They take about a dozen strands of white yarn about ten feet long and have their wife fold their hair up so its sort of a fat tail about 4 to 6 inches long at the nape of their neck. Then they wrap all this yarn around it and tie it off. Looks great, but not something I can do myself.
So started just folding my hair up like they do, they wrapping it with a couple of white hair ties. Sure feels cooler, less hassle at night, and it has a masculine look rather than a feminine look....at least around here.
