Another Question...

I was poking around in the archives and I came across an article or two that talks about sodium laureth sulfate/sodium lauryl sulfate/ammonium laurel sulfate. It says that one or two of these dries out the hair, and one is fine for the hair, but I'm not clear on which one is which. Is this even true? Are there any other chemicals/products I should avoid, if any?
The reason I am asking this is because my hair is super-mega-uber damaged from coloring and the "braid incident", and I want to be sure that I don't dry it out even more. Should I be worried about overconditioning? Is there even such a thing?
Thanks a bunch!

Sodium LaurETH Sulfate is the most gentle, kindest, least damaging and...
most expensive. It is usually found in the better shampoos and cheaper
brands will try to substitute it with sodium laurYL sulfate or ammonium laurEL sulfate.
Hope that helps...
PS: ViVE uses ONLY Sodium LaurETH Sulfate...
